Fees, insurance carriers and appointments
Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of client issues and the requirement to share such information with insurance companies, I have opted out of any insurance or reimbursement plans, including Medicare. If there is a verifiable diagnosis listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), I can note it and provide a monthly statement that can be submitted to an insurance company for reimbursement according to the policy. I do not bill electronically and while operating according to state laws and standards, my practice is 100% private. My fee is $215 per 55-minute session, payable by debit/credit card. A double session of 115 minutes at $430 can also be charged. Emergency sessions with no advance notice are only upon availability and may incur a surcharge. Cancellations of session fees will be honored up until 24 hours prior to your therapy or coaching session. No cancellations or refunds of fees will apply 24 hours or less prior to your therapy or coaching session. There is also a Sex-and-Life Coaching/sex therapy agreement or psychotherapy consent form that we will both need to sign prior to our first session. The agreement is sent and returned signed via email 48 hours prior to the appointment in order to maximize full session time.
Good Faith Estimate Disclosure
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
